The pilgrimage Wieskirche, or Church of Wies, is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bavaria, near the very famous Neuschwanstein Castle. We visited here on our road trip along the Romantic Road. It is a beautiful Rococo church in a countryside setting. It is said that in 1738 tears were seen here on a wooden figure of Christ.
