I travel with my favorite people, my four amazing kids and partner Gary. So far, our family travel adventures are in the U.S.A., Canada, and Europe. I created this site to help capture our travel memories while also sharing tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way. I am also hoping it might inspire others who want to travel but think it’s out of reach. We are working folks who prioritize travel and sometimes have to get a little creative to pull off a trip on budget. Readers will quickly learn some of my hacks for how I make it all work.
When I am not traveling, I work in higher education. I also build AI-powered education tools at AssessBetter.com. I am a dual citizen who sometimes speaks a little Swiss German. I have degrees in psychology, international studies, organizational learning and leadership, and education. I have been traveling internationally my whole life.
